Column casings are formed by first mechanically fixing a profiled corner protector to a suitably prepared packers or into the structural element behind. Your chosen flat cladding panel/board is then fixed into position using a proprietary secret fixing system (hook on method of fixing). A suitably sized corner protector/angle is then bonded into position to cover the face fixings and to provide functional impact protection and/or a decorative finish.
A range of proprietary and bespoke corner protectors/angles can be supplied made from materials including plastic, aluminium & stainless steel to provide either functional impact protection and/or a decorative corner feature.
The drawing below shows a typical detail for this method of construction.
